Dan is a full time climbing instructor and occasionally has been found to moonlight in a kayak, starting in the competition climbing scene then moving to the great outdoors until becoming a full time instructor and coach.

In 2008 Dan ranked 3rd in Britain and in 2005 had a world ranking of 14th.

Dan has been coaching climbing for over 10 years with a variety of groups; including uni mountaineering, junior climbing teams and members of the British junior climbing team.

Debbie is a full member of The Association of Mountaineering Instructors and works on a freelance basis.

She has been rock climbing since 1986 and began high altitude mountaineering in 1993.

During this time she has spent much time climbing in Bolivia and North Peru.

Debbie has been working in the Leadership/Instructional outdoor industry since 1989.

She has led many mountaineering expeditions since 1995, to Morocco, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Borneo, Nepal and India.

She has Advanced Wilderness Medical training and much experience of altitude related illness.

Debbie is currently supporting the Adventureworks schools project with the role of Regional Coordinator and leading expeditions regularly for both Jagged Globe and Adventureworks.

Ed is a full time Mountain Instructor, Expedition Leader and Technical Advisor.

He runs courses himself and also works on a freelance basis for various companies throughout the UK.

Ed holds the Mountain Instructor Certificate, the highest award for instructors working in the UK.

This means he works in summer and winter and is able to work in all the mountain areas of the country.

As an expedition leader Ed has led more than twenty trips around the world.

These trips have been to the greater ranges in Asia and South America as well as Africa and Europe.

Ed regularly works for other companies with both adults and young people in the role of a development trainer.

Having spent many years working in outdoor centres with both mainstream and special education clients, he has developed an easy going and professional style.

Ed uses his experience to now advise others on safe practice within the mountaineering industry.
