This course will offer simple steps and basic techniques on handling different situations, it can be a glorious summer at the foot of the hill in the UK but depending where you are it can be close to zero and blowing a gale at the top of the hill.</p>
<p>This course will give you basic information on what to take on the hill:</p>

<li class="contentbodytext">A survival bag &#8211; this can double up as your rucsac liner to keep its contents dry</li>

<p>This course is aimed at people who are wanting to learn lots of basic skills in order to become self sufficient in the mountains.</p>
<p>It is a three to five day course based in the lake district or N.Wales.</p>

<p>Scrambling is a method of ascending faces but more than often rocky ridges, it  is somewhere between hillwalking and climbing and an easy climb can often be described as a hard scramble.</p>
<p>We aim to take people scrambling on some of the best route&#8217;s in North Wales and the lake district. A typical scrambling course will last 2 to 3 days.</p>
<p>Scrambling courses include learning to move on steeper ground, basic ropework skills, guidebook interpretation, navigation and much more.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Most of our indoor coaching is based at Nottingham climbing centre, it has 600sq metres of wall with a very extensive bouldering area, the centre is ideally set up to coach and assist people in getting ideas to improve on their indoor climbing, it has a training circuit program in place which with the assistance of an experienced coach can prove to be a very challenging and serious fitness training circuit.</p>
<p>We can help you improve no matter what your grade, whether you need assistance on technique or help on writing a training plan.</p>

<p>If you are in need of a training plan to assist you in your climbing then these are availble on request, ideally we would meet but in some cases it may be a phone conversation to find out relative information on your climbing background and retreive information that will make it possible to make a personalised program to assist your climbing.</p>

<p>Training plans will consist of day to day training giving information on warming up/down, injury, nutrition, the training phases of climbing and specific information that will help you imrpove.</p>
